AFTERGRAD is a newsletter and platform for recent grads and young professionals navigating work, careers, and adulthood. It’s curated by Robert Cain & Victoria Gilbert, creators and hosts of The Aftergrad Podcast.

The Aftergrad Podcast was officially started in November 2021 as a way for us to talk about the transition from college to the real world. On the biweekly show, we discuss the societal pressures that stand to mold young folks into inauthentic versions of themselves while desperately searching for clarity and security in the postgrad moment.

WHO/WHAT IS AN AFTERGRAD?

Aftergrads are recent grads or working adults trying their best to figure out this thing we call life. More specifically, we like to think of ourselves as people who see the world a little bit differently than the mainstream. We’re comfortable with uncertainty, willing to take risks, and despise the status quo.
